Gideon Reeling: The Mardi Gras Frittarty - a Celebration of Pancakes

An Immersive Cabaret Celebration of Love and Pancakes.
Assembly Hall £15 (advance) / £18 (on the door)
Book Tue 28 February, 7pm

The Mardi Gras Frittarty, is a celebration of love and pancakes and a spin-off from Gideon Reeling's regular night The Starty.

It's an immersive experience of the wonky sort – a bit like a party and a bit like a cabaret but it’s also a handy (fictional) Women’s Committee Meeting featuring an oddball cast of characters who will positively bombard you with seasonal cheer, whatever the season.

It has been entertaining London since 2010 with its gritty brand of topical humour and interactive shenanigans and this is its second time at Shoreditch Town Hall.

Come to the Town Hall this Pancake Day and enjoy the wisest cracks, the biggest tossers, smashing prizes and a sizzling pan full of surprises. There’s even a star prize for anyone dressed as 'out of the frying pan into the wilderness'.

Music, comedy, games, fabulous prizes, crafting and usually hats, all hosted by the infamous purveyor of Bespoke Interactive Experiences himself, it's definitely one of the most bizarre and amazing lent celebrations you'll ever go to.

And there will be pancakes

“It’s critically acclaimed and it’s bananas…Total win of an evening” Le Cool

“An experience like no other” Time Out

“will have you feeling like a twat and LOVING it! Even more so if you aspire to win the prize for best costume” Time Out

Over 18s only.

Please note that photography and filming may occur on the evening and which may feature visitors. By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you are agreeing to the use of these images in any future promotional, advertising or publicity material.
