Spanning across dance, music, production, podcast development and more, (RE)Connect is a series of brand new workshops designed to inspire and cultivate the creative skills of young people aged 16-19.
Join the likes of Dickson Mbi, Cherise Hamilton-Stephenson and Wired4Music as they kick off a broad range of exciting and innovative activities for young people who wish to flex their creative muscles after a whole year of lockdown learning.

GET MOVING with Dickson Mbi & Fiya House
Get ready to move and feel the music within you with these digital workshops led by world renowned performer Dickson Mbi and his Fiya House crew. Broadcast live from Shoreditch Town Hall, you’ll learn how to find the beats and express the rhythms you hear through your body using the crew’s signature style of Popping through to Contemporary Dance practice.

Get your music noticed on and offline with this double bill of music-based workshops from Wired4Music, perfect for young performers wanting that extra boost. You’ll learn about marketing, performance tips, and how you can utilise social media to your advantage, hearing from guest speakers and Wired4Music alumni who will show you how to stand out from the crowd.
Wired4Music are a collective of music industry professionals. From production technicians to music makers – their goal is to platform high-quality opportunities for young people across the capital.

MAKE YOUR OWN PODCAST with Cherise Hamilton-Stephenson
Ever wanted to make your own podcast but haven’t the foggiest where to start? Award-nominated broadcast journalist, podcast producer, and presenter Cherise Hamilton-Stephenson is here to get you started!
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn what tools you need to form, produce and execute a podcast from home. As well as an overview of the podcasting industry, you’ll also learn how to monetize podcasts and the potential career paths it could lead too. All you need is access to a smart phone or tablet, with all work being made using the free app Anchor.
