In July 2025 SXSW held its European premiere in Shoreditch, showcasing the world's best innovators in tech, screen, music and creativity. Shoreditch Town Hall was chosen as their House of R&B and Classical Music Hub alongside a series of daytime talks from a variety of interesting speakers including Ian Wright, Idris Elba and Olivia Attwood.
This five-day event took over 25+ venues in Shoreditch, with Shoreditch Town Hall hosting renowned musical guests Carleen Anderson, Mabel, Sasha Keable, Classical Unlocked and Black Lives in Music.
