Christmas Social with KIN

We’ve partnered with KIN for the second year running to host the epic Christmas Social. Providing a festive party that you and your colleagues would actually want to go to, our Christmas socials have extensive packages to suit every party, including unlimited drinks, to the best of KERB’s street food, and a decadent and glamorous theme – we’re thrilled to be bringing festive magic back to Shoreditch Town Hall. Town Hall Tea Dance
15 December
Come and kick off the merry season with our final Town Hall Tea Dance of the year! In this Festive Special, we’re serving mince pies and cosy drinks all in the splendour our Assembly Hall. Mr Wonderful will be there to help you dance those winters blues away, and you can even brush up on your moves beforehand with former world champion Raymond Root’s Beginners Dance Class. ThisEgg Rehearsals
11 December
Continuing our commitment to supporting artists, ThisEgg are hosting rehearsals with us in December. Making form-led theatre that brings people together and responds to the world now, ThisEgg has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and received various awards and commissions, including a Scotsman Fringe First Award for their show A Little Inquest Into What We Are All Doing Here which had its London premiere in our Spring Programme earlier this year.
Elisabeth Gunawan & KISS WITNESS: 5 Elements Movement Practice & Sound Bath Workshop
18 December
Taught by Elisabeth Gunawan with a live sound bath by Jacqueline Berces, join us for a movement-based practice space designed for professional and pre-professional actors, dancers, and physical theatre performers. Rooted in the Chinese philosophy of the Five Elements (Wu Xing) – Earth, Wood, Fire, Water, and Metal – and their yin and yang qualities, this workshop explores how embodying elemental energies can nourish the performer’s imaginative and physical engine. Social Founders & Hackney Impact: Networking Event
9 December
Hackney Social Founders have been supporting charities, community groups and social enterprises across Hackney since 2022. Part of the wider Social Founders network and a founding partner of the Hackney Impact consortium, they provide monthly networking forums, social founder talks, training and 1-2-1 mentorship for Hackney-based social founders. Through our Local Lounge scheme, they will be hosting a networking session for the Hackney Social Founders.
Hackney Society: Hackney Guides Interviews
12 December and 18 December
Hackney Society are looking to raise Hackney’s profile and tell its many good stories with their accredited guiding course. They’re using Local Lounge to host interviews for the first ever Hackney guides, right in the heart of Hackney.
