Award Winning Virtual Reality

Anagram – Goliath: Playing with Reality
24 – 28 September

Anagram join us this month with their award-winning immersive work, Goliath: Playing with Reality. Through mind-bending animation and heartfelt dialogue, this virtual reality experience explores the power of gaming communities in this true story of so-called ‘schizophrenia’. Echo (narrated by Tilda Swinton) guides you through the many realities of Goliath, a man who spent years isolated in psychiatric institutions but finds connection in multiplayer games. Find out more and book your tickets by clicking here.

Goliath dressed in a grey top and blue shorts sitting on a bed in a pixelated, dark room in the psychiatric hospital. A window with closed blinds is on the left, and a table with a single pink cup is placed near the person. The scene is surrounded by blocks of grey and black pixels.

Supporting our local and artistic community

Local Lounge

Throughout September our Local Lounge is open, offering Hackney-based grassroots organisations, charities, non-for-profits and creative individuals the opportunity to utilise our Front Room space for FREE for events that benefit the local community. The space can be used for meetings, social events, creative workshops, training sessions and more. This month we’re looking forward to welcoming returning groups such as Xenia, an organisation dedicated to bringing women from diverse backgrounds together to connect, share, and learn, as well as new users like London Fashion District, who are holding workshops to support creatives with practical employability solutions.
