George Ezra will play a one-off headline show at Shoreditch Town Hall on Wednesday 31 January 2018. The special, intimate gig heralds a big year for George, ahead of the release of his highly anticipated, soon-to-be-announced second album. Fans can register for the ticket presale at
www.georgeezra.com now; those who sign up will be able to purchase tickets at 10am on Wednesday 13 December. Tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Friday 15 December.

The announcement comes fresh off the back of the success of ‘George Ezra & Friends’, a one-off event at London’s Union Chapel, last Friday 8 December in aid of the mental health charity Mind. George was joined at the festive fundraiser by the comedian Josie Long, and fellow musicians Ten Tonnes, Billie Marten and Luke Pritchard, front man of the Kooks. George and his band headlined the event with a 14 song set that included six brand new unreleased songs from his forthcoming album. Mind has long been a charity close to George’s heart; on his tour this summer, donations for the charity were collected at each of the shows across the UK and Ireland.

George Ezra is one of the biggest selling male artists of the decade. His debut album Wanted On Voyage is certified 4x platinum in the UK, and was amongst the top 10 biggest selling artist albums in this country in both 2014 and 2015, reaching #1 in the Official UK Chart and spending 122 weeks in the chart overall.

In little more than 18 months Ezra went from virtual unknown to one of the international breakthrough artists of recent times: taking in a top 10 album in 10 countries; three sold out UK tours; nominations for four BRITs, one BBC Music Award and an Ivor Novello. George returned earlier this year with a new single Don’t Matter Now and the sold out, tongue-in-cheek-titled ‘TOP SECRET Tour’, a two week jaunt of intimate venues around the UK and Ireland, ahead of a summer of festival performances at Glastonbury, V Festival, TRNSMT and the Isle of Wight Festival, amongst others.
