IDENTITY brings fashion and dance crashing together at Shoreditch Town Hall to celebrate east London’s unparalleled creativity.

East London Dance and Shoreditch Town Hall invite you into a world of east London grit and glamour as we convert the majestic Victorian Assembly Hall to create a pulsating gig-like atmosphere where dance and catwalk collide.

Directed by maverick choreographer, Tony Adigun, IDENTITY will shine a light on the compelling new artistic voices bursting from east London.

From the moment you enter the building, you will experience alternative and underground forms of dance, style and musical expression coexisting, influencing and inspiring each other, all channelled through artists working at the cutting edge of their forms.

Infusing hip hop, voguing, krump, waacking and contemporary dance with their own unique styles Avant Garde Dance Company; Ffion Campbell-Davies & Julia Cheng of House of Absolute; Houston Dance Collective and Rugged Estate will challenge preconceptions of sexual, cultural, gender and ethnic identity.

Collaborating with fashion stylist Sabrina Henry, these dance artists will bring you a slice of east London culture and creativity that defies conformity.
