Positive East presents Rays of Resistance – an unforgettable evening of celebration set against the powerful backdrop of the arts' role in HIV/AIDS activism.
Get ready for a dazzling display of music, dance, and spoken word performances. Witness how seminal artworks from the past challenged stigma and fostered a sense of community, while powerful voices of today ignite hope and inspire action.
The stunning line-up includes: ROY INC, Voguerites, Tom Rasmussen, HIV Voices, Victoria Park Singers, DJ Terry T-REX and Pam Hogg.
Immerse yourself in seminal artworks from the past that helped tackle stigma, and reflected notions of belonging and community when it comes to HIV/AIDS. Be moved by music, dance, and spoken word from the present that ignite hope and empower change.

Proceeds of the night and 100% of all tickets sold will go towards supporting Positive East’s Advice Service, which provides people living with HIV access to secure, safe and stable housing.
Positive East is an East London charity that provides support and advice services to people living with HIV. They have been at the forefront of HIV service and care for over 30 years; supporting people from point of HIV diagnosis to longer term care.
Every year, Positive East supports more than 4,000 people with services such as counselling sessions, support groups, their advice line and their health and wellbeing programme as well as providing free HIV/STI tests to the local community. Find out more on their website by clicking here.
