Positive East presents Rays of Resistance – an evening illuminating the radical and historic connection between the arts, LGBTQ+ sexual health and HIV/AIDS activism.

Hosted by singer and producer Roy Inc, this one-off event will give a stage to singers, musicians, actors and dancers in a dazzling display of the powerful intersection between the arts and HIV/AIDS activism.

Immerse yourself in seminal artworks from the past that helped tackle stigma, and reflected notions of belonging and community when it comes to HIV/AIDS. Be moved by music, dance, and spoken word from the present that ignite hope and empower change. Full line-up of acts and artworks announced soon.

Don't miss this unforgettable evening celebrating the transformative power of art and HIV/AIDS activism, and together, illuminate the path to a future free from HIV/AIDS stigma and discrimination.

Proceeds of the night and all tickets sold will go towards supporting Positive East’s Advice Service, which provides people living with HIV access to secure, safe and stable housing.
