Join us for STAMP Connects - an afternoon for artists and organisations alike to come together for useful panel talks, open conversations and networking.
STAMP Connects breaks down barriers between independent artists and the organisations who exist to support them. As in previous years, it will feature panel discussions with a variety of programming, producing and commissioning theatres. At our ‘marketplace’, ticket holders can also meet, chat and build relationships with up to 20 London-based arts organisations, including the Kings Head Theatre, Soho Theatre, Theatre Deli and Pleasance.
STAMP Connects is an opportunity to tell venues and organisations what you think and what you need – and to gain an understanding of how those organisations and venues can support you and your work.

Bernie Grant Arts Centre (unfortunately can no longer make it).

Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided free of charge throughout the day. Each ticket holder will receive a drinks voucher for one free drink at the networking session in the evening.
STAMP Connects is a relaxed event. This means we welcome all those with learning disabilities and/or additional sensory and communication needs, or anyone else who prefers to attend events in a more informal environment.
During the event, attendees should feel comfortable making noise and moving around as and when they need to in a friendly environment.
There is an admittance anytime policy, including during panel discussions, so attendees are free to come and go as they please.
There are no bright lights or loud noises during STAMP Connects.
There is a Quiet Space at Shoreditch Town Hall with armchairs, a sofa, and water available. There will be reserved access seating with good site lines of the stage, and near exits. All panellists will audio describe.

2.15pm - 3.15pm - Programming & Artist Development Insight Session, featuring artsdepot, Camden People’s Theatre, Cockpit Theatre / Voila Festival, King's Head Theatre, New Diorama Theatre, Pleasance. Chaired by Kaya Stanely-Money (CPT)
3.45pm - 4.45pm - Arts Council England - Funding for Independent Artists - You can let us know what question you’d like our Arts Council Representative to answer by clicking here
4.45pm - 5pm - Short Break
5.30pm - 6.15pm - Panel Discussion: Dreaming Big with artists Dom Garfield, Beth Watson and Peyvand Sadeghian, led by Chrisite Hill (Cultural Programme Producer at Shoreditch Town Hall)
Beyond the challenges of now, what would we like the landscape for independent artists to look like in 5, 10 or 15 years’ time? This discussion will be led by provocations by three artists, imagining possible (Utopian?) futures for freelance artists and independent theatre-making. It will then open out into a wider conversation, about those futures, and how we might get there.
6.15pm - 7pm - Networking Drinks
The marketplace is open throughout the day for you to meet representatives from different organisations. There are 30 minute networking sessions programmed too at 1.45pm, 3.15pm and 5pm.
