Through costume, movement and text, this part fashion show, part theatre show explores our relationship to money. What it tells us about ourselves, and about each other.

What power do we have with our money? Do we think enough about where our money goes? Can choosing not to support companies whose values don't align with ours make a difference? Does where we choose to bank, to buy clothes and what government we vote for really affect wider society?
Individual choices may seem small, but together they can have real impact. Join this discussion on how we can think about spending more ethically and how we can encourage others to do so as well.

Exploring Alternatives to Capitalism
Capitalism can often feel inevitable, but it hasn't always existed, and it doesn't have to be the only way of how we organise our society. So what alternatives are there? If we continue living within a capitalist system, how can we do so more fairly and sustainably?
Join us for this panel discussion to hear from people who are already doing things differently. People who are exploring models that put people, communities, and the planet before profit. Rather than us asking whether it's "too late," can we ask: what changes are possible?

Ban the Bailiffs: How to resist bailiffs in your local community
Tuesday 29 September, 5.30pm - 7pm
Council tax debt has soared in recent years, and rates just keep going up. 4.4 million people are now in debt. But instead of supporting families, councils are using violence, harassment and intimidation - sending in the bailiffs.
Join this interactive workshop to understand the issue, and give you the tools you need to join the fight against bailiffs in your local area. Previous experience of campaigning not needed - open to all.

Debt, Colonialism and the Climate Crisis

Many of the world’s most climate vulnerable states are spending five times more on debt than dealing with the climate emergency – even as they face floods and famines. This is not an accident. For centuries, powerful governments, institutions and corporations have used debt to control and plunder the resources of countries in the global South.
This interactive workshop will explain the history of the colonial debt crisis, what it means for our wider movements, and how you can get involved with the fight for debt justice.
