Yes Queens is the West End’s first female-led improvised comedy night!
Featuring top UK impro talent from such Olivier Award-winning productions as Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, Austentatious and Mischief Theatre, it is interactive theatre at its best, with the audience playing a key role in a night of games, scenes, sketches and songs – all improvised from their suggestions.

Ticket holders may be asked to demonstrate their Covid-19 status by providing either proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test taken within 24 hours, proof of full vaccination, or proof of natural immunity based on a positive PCR test taken within 6 months (making sure the 10-day self-isolation period following the result has passed). We will not admit entry to those that cannot provide evidence of one of the above requirements when prompted and no refund will be offered under these circumstances. Pippa Evans is an Olivier Award-winning musical comedian, songwriter and improviser.
Improvisation credits include: Pippa is a core-member of Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. She co-created and performs in two other improv groups: The Glenda J Collective (alongside Josie Lawrence, Cariad Lloyd and Ruth Bratt) and There Will Be Cake (alongside Marcus Brigstocke, Rachel Parris and Paul Foxcroft). Both groups have performed sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and at London’s Soho Theatre.
Radio credits include: Pippa can often be found singing funny songs on BBC Radio 4 in shows such as The Now Show and I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue and is the co-host of the Showstopper Podcast.
Pippa also teaches the course Improv Your Life in which she demonstrates how improv can be applied to the everyday.
Helen Foster is an actor, improviser and writer and trained at LIPA.
Theatre credits include: Get Ready With Me (A clown show), Co-collaborator (Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse), BedPeace: the Battle of Yohn & Joko (The Cockpit), The Misfits of London: The Gin Chronicles (Edinburgh Fringe), The God of Hell (Theatre N16), (Silly) Little Women (Camden People’s Theatre).

Jinni Lyons is an actor, improviser and writer. She performs regularly with Yes Queens and The Actor’s Nightmare, and guests with the Comedy Store Players. She created a solo improv show, Jinni Lyons is an Only Child, which she toured nationally and internationally, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Improvised Plays Festival in Austin, Texas, and the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston, MA. She has appeared in several London 50 Hour Improvathons and Liverpool 33 Hour Improvathons, Unbridled: The Improvised Jilly Cooper Show, and created immersive theatre for Vault Festival and Tate Britain with The Society of N.I.C.E. She has also performed with NewsRevue and Secret Cinema.
Improvisation credits include: performing regularly with Olivier Award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical and with The Maydays Tim Burton themed improv show Happily Never After.
Her duo improv show, Ten Thousand Million Love Stories has also toured in the US, Europe, Pakistan and most recently to Malawi.
She is an Artistic director of the Nursery Theatre in London and has also co-written a book on the subject of musical improvisation called Sing it!
Heather was winner of the award for best female performer in the Brighton Fringe and can often be found improvising a concept album with Fred Deakin of Lemon Jelly.
Improvisation credits include: being a member of one of the UK’s top improv duos, Breaking & Entering, the creators of London’s sell-out Playground show. She has also appeared with Music Box, Hoopla Players, Criminal Improv, Rhi & Ria, The 50-hour Improvathon, Katy & Maria, Ma & PA.
Writing credits include: BBC Radio Comedy and she is a regular on the improv podcast Destination.
Theatre credits include: Maria’s critically acclaimed solo debut show The Science of Cringe (Edinburgh) which performed to sell-out audiences. “Left me helpless with laughter” – Fringe Guru.
She performs internationally across Europe and the United States.
