Helen Foster

Helen Foster is an actor, improviser and writer and trained at LIPA.

Theatre credits include: Get Ready With Me (A clown show), Co-collaborator (Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse), BedPeace: the Battle of Yohn & Joko (The Cockpit), The Misfits of London: The Gin Chronicles (Edinburgh Fringe), The God of Hell (Theatre N16), (Silly) Little Women (Camden People’s Theatre).

TV credits includeBBC Newsnight (BBC) 

Maria Peters

Improvisation credits include: being a member of one of the UK’s top improv duos, Breaking & Entering, the creators of London’s sell-out Playground show. She has also appeared with Music BoxHoopla PlayersCriminal ImprovRhi & RiaThe 50-hour ImprovathonKaty & MariaMa & PA.

Writing credits includeBBC Radio Comedy and she is a regular on the improv podcast Destination.

Theatre credits include: Maria’s critically acclaimed solo debut show The Science of Cringe (Edinburgh) which performed to sell-out audiences. “Left me helpless with laughter” – Fringe Guru.

She performs internationally across Europe and the United States.

Briony Redman

Briony is a writer and British Comedy Guide recommended comedian. She’s a veteran improviser who has performed with Monkey Toast UK, Suki Webster’s Guest Speaker, This is Your Trial and Chortle award-winning Austentatious. She performs regularly with The Free Association (“an equivalent to the professionalised improv of Chicago’s Second City or Upright Citizens Brigade” Fest Mag) as well as in Running on Empty with Richard Soames (Beta Males) and Anxiety Club with Lauren Shearing (Showstoppers) and Charlotte Gittins (Austentatious). She is also a regular guest at The Playground, Questing Time and Steen Raskopoulos Improvises with Friends.

Lucy Trodd

Lucy Trodd has been improvising since 2005. She worked extensively with Ken Campbell, which led to the founding of Olivier Award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical.

Trodd En Bratt is Lucy’s absurd double act. They wrote and performed two series for BBC Radio 4/NBC Universal and were finalists in the prestigious BBC Audio Awards.

TV includes: semi-improvised sitcom Lee and Dean (C4) and Julia Davis’s Sally4Eva (Sky).

She is currently developing a bunch of ideas with fellow Showstopper! Sue Harrison and working on an all-female clown show.

Susan Harrison

Susan has been improvising for ten years & a member of Olivier Award Winning
Showstopper! The Improvised Musical for the past seven, performing with them on the West End & internationally. She is part of the improv duo BEINGS & co-hosts an
improvised podcast Hayley and Ruth: Two Stars with comedian Gemma Arrowsmith.
Susan was a series regular in BAFTA winning CBBC sketch show Class Dismissed and in CBBC comedy show DNN, for which she wrote and created her own characters.
Theatre credits include: Peter Pan Goes Wrong (Mischief/West End), The Elephantom (National Theatre), Bagpuss (Soho Theatre) to name a few.
