Where is my ticket?

We issue e-tickets which you can print at home or display on your phone or tablet when you arrive.

Tickets are sent by email as a PDF attachment. If you did not receive your tickets, please email marketing@shoreditchtownhall.com.

Unfortunately we are unable to post tickets.

What is your refunds policy?

Tickets are non-refundable except when an event is cancelled, including if this is due to a cancellation arising as a result of measures related to the control of the Covid-19 pandemic

If a customer has been asked to isolate due to Covid-19 for reasons beyond their control, their tickets can be refunded or exchanged into another performance at an appropriate time for a fee of £2 and subject to proof of the requirement to self-isolate being given.

Can I exchange or re-sell my ticket?

If you cannot attend a performance, we will try to exchange your tickets for another performance of the same event. There is a fee of £2 for this service. Tickets must be exchanged before the event has started. This service is offered at Shoreditch Town Hall's discretion.

On rare occasions we may be able to re-sell your ticket. This service is offered at our discretion and is only provided once the performance is sold out. If your ticket is re-sold, you will receive a full refund (minus a £2 administration fee) within 7 working days.

Do you offer concessions?

We offer concessions to full-time students, those under 25, over 65, unwaged patrons, people with registered disabilities, and local residents living in the Borough of Hackney and the following postcodes: E2 6, E2 7, E2 9, E1 5, E1 6

Where possible, audience members who are accompanied by a registered carer are entitled to a complementary carer’s ticket. Please contact Reception for more information.

All concessions are subject to availability and must be mentioned at the time of booking.

Do you have age guidance for your performances?

All  people under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Age restrictions can vary by production, so please check the performance page before booking. Shoreditch Town Hall reserves the right to request identification from audience members and to refuse entry.

Do you charge a transaction fee?

All bookings are subject to a £2 fee per transaction.

How do I make a group booking?

We love welcoming groups of school pupils, or students from colleges and universities. To make the booking process as simple as possible, we ask that you visit our Group Booking page and complete a form. We will process your booking within 7 days.

What is your admission policy?

We reserve the right to refuse admission and to take any appropriate action to enforce this. We reserve our right to alter or amend the programme as necessary as a result of unforeseen circumstances.

Shoreditch Town Hall reserves the right to re-allocate customers to an alternative location within the auditorium.

Are there any security checks in place?

To make your visit as safe as possible, enhanced security measures are currently in place at Shoreditch Town Hall which includes bag searches. We strongly request that audiences do not bring large bags or rucksacks to the venue. Anyone who declines a security search or bag check will not be admitted. Please always remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour or items to a member of staff.

What sound and lighting effects do you use?

Some events may contain loud sound levels or particular lighting effects. When this is the case, notices will be displayed across the building.

Can I smoke?

We are a no smoking venue. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes.

Can I take photographs, film or make an audio recording?

On the whole we do not permit the photographing, filming or audio recording of any show or event at Shoreditch Town Hall. We reserve the right to ask people to leave should they be using any camera or form of audio visual recording equipment on the premises.

Can I use my phone during a performance?

Please switch off mobile phones, or turn them to silent when entering the auditorium.

Do you admit latecomers?

We cannot guarantee that latecomers will be admitted to the performance. Where possible, latecomers may only be allowed into the auditorium during a suitable break in the performance, which may not be until the interval.
