Supporting Artistic Communities

Majorettes

Marawa’s Majorettes make everyone fall in love with hooping! They’ve become a leading fitness team and international performance troupe, teaching the world to hoop as they go. Every week we support the Majorettes by giving them space to rehearse at Shoreditch Town Hall. Find out more about them by clicking here.

Symoné and Reed Rushes
2nd – 5th February

Symoné takes residency in our Old Servery with New York based live art director/performer Reed Rushes as they join forces to rehearse their new mixed reality theatre production, Nullspace Motel.  Featuring a collective of contemporary dancers, game designers, and pole dancers, The Nullspace Motel universe spans across two interconnected projects also including A Dream Within A Dream which together, explores themes of queerness, identity, memory, and the nature of reality through mixed reality performative storytelling. Learn more about A Dream Within A Dream here.

Megan Prescott
6th and 11th February

Soho Theatre’s sold out show, Really Good Exposure by Megan Prescott is rehearsing at Shoreditch Town Hall this February. Following an award-winning run at Edinburgh Fringe in 2024, Skins star Prescott rehearses her one-woman show which touches on the world of child stars, strip clubs, and casting couches – and questions what it means to earn a living as a performer. Explore more about the show here.

Fag Packet
8th February

Fag Packet return to our building after the success of performing DYKE Systems as 2 Indie Boys at Summer in The Ditch. They will be rehearsing the show, which they have continue to develop over the last year. DYKE Systems was a part of our live performance, drag and cabaret evenings in The Ditch last summer which saw a series of artist takeovers of the basement for of all things camp, queer and cult.

Access for all

From Janaury to April we are undergoing a glow up.

Shoreditch Town Hall is committed to providing a welcoming environment, working to positively improve the experience for our visitors with access needs as much as possible within the limitations of our Grade II listed building. We are currently in the process of installing a ramp to the front of the building to replace the existing, unreliable lift. Keep an eye on our socials as we begin to document our transformation and we look forward to unveiling our new ramp towards the start of our Spring season.
