Every year we produce at least one full-scale production for young people of varying ages.
Past productions for young people have included Kazzum: The Boy The Bees and The Blizzard, One Tenth Human & China Plate’s We’re Stuck! which played in The Ditch in March 2016 and April 2017 and at The Edge Youth Hub in Woodberry Down in April 2017, and Nigel & Louise’s Basement Grotto which played in The Ditch in December 2014.
Have you got some disco-dancing toddlers who are up for some Saturday morning raving? Then look no further! The Town Hall regularly hosts Baby Loves Disco Mini Roadshow – the original family dance party suitable for 0-6 year olds.

Over 600 young people and families engaged with our first ever Town Hall Takeover in October 2016 featuring 16 free workshops and activities across the building delivered by a range of local artists including Hackney Playbus, Hackney Shed, Marawa’s Majorettes, East London Dance, LandSky, Eastside Educational Trust and more.
