27 April: Head
5 May: Emotion
11 May: Energy
18 May: Attention
Join Snooze Fabric this spring for a brand new series of drawing classes with a difference.
Through gentle physical movement, being centred & present and employing relaxation techniques, we endeavour to create an environment to relax and create in.
We hope to take the intimidation out of drawing by looking, seeing and observing, and particularly focus on how this affects our mind-body relationship to the subject.
Not only is the purpose to immerse yourself and feel relaxed, but we also hope to equip you with the skills and confidence to take this in whatever direction you may choose.
We welcome everybody; these classes are for people who don’t draw at all and are looking for a creative outlet, those who have an interest and are looking to improve or for people that want to really hone their established skills and perhaps find a different approach.
This class offers an alternative approach to meditation and mindfulness with a practical outcome that can be beneficial for improving your mental wellbeing.
Please note all drawing equipment will be provided and we offer complimentary light refreshments.
Snooze Fabric is a disruptive design duo that aim to ask questions, inspire and motivate. The brand was formed in the minds of the two individuals; knitwear designer Romany Taylor and Illustrator Wayne Murray.
