Talawa hosts industry influencers Blacktress UK – A collective of Black women actors of the African diaspora from the UK, creating a safe space and being the voice for empowering, encouraging and enlightening the Black woman actor.

Blacktress will be facilitating A ‘spark’ workshop in Energizing Esteem led by Zena Edwards and Shiloh Coke. This will focus on the perceptions of black womanhood using art, journaling and creative writing.

Open to Black women actors with little or lots of experience.
